Countdown: - 31 giorni al Festival
“International Circus Festival of Italy”. È questa la nuova denominazione della manifestazione circense nata 17 anni fa a Latina ed oggi fra le più apprezzate al mondo. La locandina ufficiale dell’imminente edizione è tratta dal lodevole lavoro su tela dell’artista Elena Zaïka.
Il Festival Internazionale del Circo, noto fin dal ‘99 come il “Città di Latina”, assume oggiuna nuova ed autorevole denominazione: “International Circus Festival of Italy”. In tal modo si intende promuovere sempre più l’Italia nel mondo presentandonei talenti, le competenze e le capacità organizzative nel settore delle arti, della cultura e dello spettacolo dal vivo.Diffusa oggi ufficialmente la locandina della 17^ edizione del Festival; confermata la scelta iconografica dopo l’unanime apprezzamento ottenuto lo scorso anno: ideatrice ed autrice della locandina è l’artista Elena Zaïka nota al mondo del Circo per aver realizzato locandine, trofei e persino francobolli per il celeberrimo Festival Internazionale del Circo di Monte-Carlo. Il suo stile pittorico è inconfondibile: un’esplosione di colori che immediatamente rimanda al Circo quale “arte della gioia”. Elementi centrali di questa locandina sono i tre capisaldi del Circo tradizionale: i clown, gli acrobati e gli animali. Volti noti agli amanti del Circo trovano spazio nel bel lavoro della Zaïka: sono i volti dei due ospiti d’onore della manifestazione, il Clown Wioris De Rocchi con le sue bolle di sapone e l’addestratore Stefano Orfei Nones in compagnia delle sue leonesse.

“International Circus Festival of Italy” is the new name of the Circus event that had its beginnings 17 years ago in Latina, and which is now one of the most important events of its kind worldwide. The official poster for this year’s edition is based on an original oil painting by renowned artist Elena Zaïka.
The International Circus Festival that has, since 1999, been known as the ‘International Circus Festival – City of Latina’ is changing its name to ‘International Circus Festival of Italy’. With this new name comes the intention to continue to promote Italy around the world, presenting Italian talent, competence and organizational skills within the arts, cultural and live performance sectors. Today we also present the official poster for the 17th edition of the Festival. After the resounding success of last year’s poster, Elena Zaïka returns with a new painting for this year’s event, with her instantly recognizable style of painting that bursts with colour and verve. Elena Zaïka is well-known within the Circus world for her many designs for posters, trophies and even postage stamps for the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo. The main elements of this painting will be three mainstays of traditional Circus: clowns, acrobats and animals.
