LA GIURIA DEL 10° FESTIVAL INTERNAZIONALE “CITTA’ DI LATINA” E’ ALLE BATTUTE FINALI. IL PRESIDENTE EGIDIO PALMIRI, CON L’AUSILIO DEL SEGRETARIO GIULIO MONTICO, SARA’ A CAPO DI UNA GIURIA CHE, SEPPUR ANCORA IN VIA DI DEFINIZIONE, HA TRA I SUOI MEMBRI EUGENE CHAPLIN PER LA PRIMA VOLTA A LATINA
La produzione del Festival Internazionale di Latina, in corsa per definire il cartellone degli spettacoli, sta ultimando anche la composizione della Giuria Internazionale. La presidenza sarà affidata, come consuetudine, al Presidente dell’ENC Egidio Palmiri che avrà al suo fianco, come segretario, Giulio Montico Presidente dell’Associazione Culturale “G.Montico”. Tra le personalità del mondo circense internazionale, per la prima volta a Latina, spicca la presenza di Eugene Chaplin, figlio del grande Charlie. Eugene, quinto figlio del protagonista del cinema muto, a differenza del padre si è occupato di regia. Laureato alla Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts a Londra, ha lavorato per il Covent Garden in Inghilterra e per l’Opera House di Ginevra, sarà per la prima volta a Latina, in giuria, proprio in occasione dello svolgimento del Festival.La Giuria, una tra le più importanti al mondo mai riunitesi e la più prestigiosa che il Festival di Latina abbia mai avuto, è degna del traguardo del decennale come ci spiega proprio Giulio Montico: “L’appuntamento di quest'anno è molto importante sia per l’Associazione che per la città e quindi ho voluto creare un cast d’artisti d’eccezione. A fronte d’importanti presenze artistiche era necessario individuare una Giuria Internazionale autorevole e prestigiosa. I nomi che la compongono credo sia il meglio del panorama circense internazionale e saranno a Latina anche per testimoniare l’attaccamento al Festival che ha solo dieci anni di vita, ma si è già guadagnato un posto importante tra le Rassegne internazionali più prestigiose”. www.festivalcircolatina.it 10TH INTERNATIONAL CIRCUS FESTIVAL“City of Latina” Press release nr. 5/2008 – July, 16, 2008 THE JURY OF THE 10th INTERNATIONAL CIRCUS FESTIVAL "CITY OF LATINA" IS ALMOST COMPLETE. THE PRESIDENT EGIDIO PALMIRI, WITH THE HELP OF GIULIO MONTICO, WILL PRESIDE A JURY THAT AMONG ITS MEMBERS HAS EUGENE CHAPLIN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN LATINA. The production of the International Festival of Latina is completing the composition of the International Jury. The presidency will be submitted, as custom, to the President of the ENC, Egidio Palmiri, who will be helped by a secretary, Giulio Montico President of the Cultural Association "G.Montico". Among the personalities of the circus world, for the first time in Latina there will be Eugene Chaplin, son of the great Charlie. Eugene, fifth son of the famous actor, didn’t follow the steps of his father but his own passion for the stage direction. Graduated at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, he has worked for the Covent Garden in England and for the Opera House in Geneva. He will be for the first time in Latina as Jury Member in occasion of the 10th Festival. The Jury, one among the most important in the world and the most prestigious that the Latina Festival has ever had, is worthy of first decennial celebration, as Giulio Montico says: "The appointment of this year is very important both for the association and for the city, that’s way I wanted to create a cast of excellent artists. Due to the importance of this edition and the great artistic presences it was necessary to have an authoritative and prestigious International Jury. I think the members invited are among the most important international circus experts and it represents a great recognition for the festival which is young but has already gained a good position among the most important international events.
