“Circus Expo” è il titolo di uno degli eventi collaterali che impreziosiranno la quattordicesima edizione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” dal 18 al 22 Ottobre 2012. Il grande successo delle passate edizione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” è stato decretato non solo dalla qualità degli spettacoli, ma anche dalla ricca serie di eventi collaterali che ne hanno arricchito la programmazione. Fra questi grande riscontro di pubblico ha riscosso “Circus Expo”, lo spazio espositivo a tema circense, all’interno del quale fotografi, pittori, scultori, appassionati di modellismo ed artisti di varia estrazione hanno potuto esporre le proprie opere alla platea internazionale del Festival. Tale successo ha indotto la Produzione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” ad avviare l’organizzazione della terza edizione di “Circus Expo” che riaprirà i propri battenti dal 18 al 22 Ottobre nella cittadella del Circo allestita a Latina. Il progetto anche quest’anno ha lo scopo di presentare all’opinione pubblica i numerosi volti della cultura circense e, più in generale, dello spettacolo dal vivo nelle più differenti modalità espressive delle arti e della comunicazione, potendo così estendere ad un pubblico sempre più ampio l’offerta culturale del Festival. Chiunque fosse interessato ad esporre i propri lavori potrà contattare gli uffici di produzione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” entro e non oltre le ore 18.30 di Venerdì 22 Giugno 2012 comunicando la propria candidatura via e-mail all’indirizzo

Nella candidatura, oltre ai propri contatti, l’interessato dovrà precisare: a quale area artistica si riferiscono i lavori che intende esporre (fotografia, dipinti, ecc.), la superficie richiesta ed eventuali necessità per lo spazio espositivo. Oltre tale data non saranno più prese in considerazione eventuali candidature. La partecipazione di artisti ed espositori a “Circus Expo” è libera e cioè non comporta oneri per chi vi partecipa, né comporta alcun compenso. La mostra sarà allestita nella giornata di Mercoledì 17 Ottobre, aperta al pubblico Giovedì 18 Ottobre, inaugurata alla presenza delle autorità Sabato 20 Ottobre e chiusa Lunedì 22 Ottobre in occasione della finale del Festival. La produzione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” avrà cura di contattare tempestivamente ciascun candidato per definire ogni aspetto logistico relativo al progetto.

The immense success of past editions of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina” is due not only to the quality of the shows, but also to the rich assortment of additional events that accompany the shows. Amongst these, “Circus Expo”, the exposition dedicated to Circus arts and occupied by photographers, artists, sculptors, model collectors and more, has enjoyed great success with the public, allowing a wide variety of arts with a Circus theme to be displayed to the international public. Following the success of this initiative, the production team of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina”, the production team has started working towards the third edition of “Circus Expo”, which will take place from the 18th to the 22nd of October in the Circus complex at Latina. As in past years, the object of the project is to present the many facets of Circus and live show culture as applied to art and communication to a vaster public within the cultural context of the Festival. with their details. All applications must arrive no later than 18.30 on Friday, June 22nd 2012. Beyond the above date, applications will not be taken into consideration. In their application, all candidates must supply the following information: address, contact numbers and email, in which category they wish to display their works (photography, painting etc), how much space they will require for their display, including number and size of paintings, models etc. Participation in “Circus Expo” is free: there is no fee, and nor is there any remuneration for exhibiting works or collections. The exhibition will be set up on Wednesday, October 17th, opened to the public on Thursday, October 18th, and officially opened in the presence of authorities on Saturday, October 20th. The exhibition will close on Monday, October 22nd, coinciding with the Finale of the Festival.
