14° Festival Internazionale del Circo“Città di Latina” Latina 18 / 22 Ottobre 2012 www.festivalcircolatina.com Comunicato stampa n° 5 del 12.04.2012 Il Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” lascia traccia di sé nelle piste dei più importanti Circhi e Festival del mondo.
La presenza degli artisti già cari al Festival di Latina nei più importanti spettacoli del mondo conferma l’efficacia della promozione delle arti circensi resa dal Festival di Latina a livello internazionale. La pista del Festival Internazionale delle Arti Circensi di Izhevsk, nella Repubblica di Udmurtia, ha ospitato il duo vietnamita Giang Quoc Brothers (Latina, argento 13^ edizione) ed il celebre ventriloquo italiano Willer Nicolodi (Latina, guest star 12^ edizione). Il Festival Internazionale del Circo di Praga ha ospitato il numero di mano a mano del Duo Peres (Latina, argento 12^ edizione) e le riprese comiche del clown italiano Davis Vassallo (Latina, 12^ edizione). In Cina, al Festival di Wuqiao svoltosi lo scorso Ottobre, erano in pista il numero di trapezio di coppia dei nord-americani Shannon Maguire e Samson Finkelstein (Latina, 12^ edizione) ed il trapezio dello svedese David Hammarberg (Latina, 8^ edizione). Il Festival Internazionale del Circo di Montecarlo ha visto la partecipazione di numerosi artisti già cari al Festival di Latina: la Troupe russa Vorobiev con il numero di altalena russa (Latina, oro 10^ edizione), la troupe ucraina Flying to the Stars (Latina, argento 10^ edizione), il verticalista cinese Cai Yong (Latina, oro 10^ edizione), il trapezio di Ekaterina Shavrina (Latina, 12^ edizione) ed il trio di clown spagnoli Mitchell. Il Festival Internazionale del Circo di Massy ha visto quest’anno la partecipazione di artisti ben noti al Festival di Latina: Redi Montico (Latina, 8^ edizione) ed il duo cubano Leosvel e Diosmani (Latina, argento 13^ edizione). Oltre a loro, hanno preso parte alla manifestazione anche Helena ed il duo Marina & Oleksii (Latina, 13^ edizione). Il Circo Krone, a Monaco, ha ospitato nella sua prestigiosa pista il numero di scala libera dell’artista ceco Emil Faltyny (Latina, 13^ edizione). Il Cirque du Soleil ha ospitato in “Corteo” l’acrobata ucraino Roman Tereshchenko (Latina, argento 11^ edizione).

The presence of performers already seen at the Festival in Latina in the most important shows around the world confirms the Festival’s efficacy in promoting circus arts on an international level. The International Festival of Circus Arts of Izhevsk, held in the Republic of Udmurtia, was host to the Vietnamese duo Giang Quoc Brothers (13th edition, Latina, Silver award) and the renowned ventriloquist Willer Nicolodi (guest star, 12th edition, Latina). The International Circus Festival of Prague hosted the Peres Brothers’ hand to hand number (12th edition, Latina, Silver award) and the comical interludes of Italian clown Davis Vassallo (12th edition, Latina). In October, USA Trapeze artists Shannon Maguire and Samson Finkelstein (12th edition, Latina) performed in the Wuqiao Festival in China, which also saw the participation of Swedish trapeze artist David Hammarberg (8th edition, Latina). The International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo’s cast list included many performers already seen at Latina: Russian troupe Vorobiev with their Russian swing number (10th edition, Latina, Gold award), the hand balance artist Cai Yong (10th edition, Latina, Gold award), Ukrainian troupe ‘Flying to the Stars’ (10th edition, Latina, Silver award), trapeze artist Ekaterina Shavrina (12th edition, Latina), and the Spanish clown trio ‘Mitchell’. The Massy International Circus Festival also hosted artists previously seen at the Festival at Latina: Redi Montico (8th edition, Latina) and the Cuban duo Leosvel e Diosmani (13th edition, Latina, Silver award) with their Chinese Pole number, as well as Czech juggler Helena and the Ukrainian acrobatic duo Marina and Oleksii (both present at the 13th edition, Latina). Czech artist Emil Faltyny (13th edition, Latina) performed his freestanding ladder number at the celebrated Circus Krone in Munich.
