Come ogni anno all’interno della ricca kermesse del Festival immancabile è la presenza dei clown che insieme ad acrobati e giocolieri occupano da sempre un posto di rilievo nelle piste circensi di tutto il mondo. Per la XIII edizione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” ad onorare la tradizione tre “special guests”: Paolo Casanova, Mr and Mrs Dittmar e Mike Togni. 
Paolo Casanova, in arte Carillon, inizia la sua carriera artistica all’età di 10 anni. Da subito è rapito dal fascino dei clown e dal mondo dei mimi ai quali si ispira durante la sua esibizione. Carillon è il clown senza parole, timido, riservato, capace di comunicare attraverso un semplice gesto. Con il suo numero, “Emozioni in bolle di sapone”, fa danzare a tempo di musica bolle di sapone di diverse dimensioni: un’apertura di spettacolo capace di evocare la poesia e la magia del mondo delle favole. 
Coppia nella vita Agnes Nemeth e Roland Dittmar, scendono in pista con un esilarante numero comico dal titolo “Mr and Mrs Dittmar”. Una storia d’amore del tutto particolare tra un uomo alto poco più di 1,60 e una donna di più di due metri. Lui, Roland Dittmar ha iniziato a lavorare nel mondo del Circo all’età di 14 anni come acrobata; lei, Agnes Nemeth, è stata giocatrice di basket fino al 2000, anno in cui ha iniziato a lavorare in coppia con Roland nei circhi di tutto il mondo. Mike Togni appartiene ad una delle più celebri famiglie del Circo italiano: con lui, i Togni sono giunti alla loro quarta generazione artistica. Essendo nato e cresciuto nel Circo, Mike Togni ha appreso e praticato numerose discipline della pista: fra queste, oggi Mike Togni ha scelto di esprimere la propria sensibilità vestendo i panni del clown, arte nella quale è affiancato da Manuela Barlay. Dal suo bisnonno, Mike Togni ha ereditato notevoli competenze in ambito organizzativo tanto che, a tutt’oggi, egli affianca la propria attività artistica con quella di direttore di spettacoli circensi.

Three Special Guests from the category will be present at the 13th edition of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina”: Paolo Casanova, Mr. & Mrs. Dittmar and Mike Togni. Paolo Casanova, under the stage name Carillon, began his artistic career at ten years of age. He was immediately fascinated by clowns, and his performance is also inspired by the world of mime artists. Carillon is a silent clown, shy, reserved and able to communicate by a simple gesture. With his number, which we can translate as “Soap Bubble Sensations”, he uses and animates soap bubbles of varying sizes to music, giving an enchantingly poetic performance that evokes the world of fairytales. Partners in life as well as onstage, Agnes Nemeth and Roland Dittmar present a comical number entitled “Mr and Mrs Dittmar”. This is a rather curious love story between a man who is only slightly over 1.60m tall and a woman who is over two metres tall. Roland Dittmar began working as an acrobat in the Circus at the age of 14; Agnes Nemeth used to be a basketball player up until 2000, when she and Roland started working together in circuses all over the world. Mike Togni belongs to one of the most celebrated Circus families in Italy: he is a fourth-generation performer of the Togni family. Having been born and brought up within the Circus, Mike Togni has learnt and practised several disciplines, and has chosen to express himself by donning the costume of the clown, assisted by Manuela Barlay. Mike Togni inherited noteworthy administrative skills from his great-grandfather, and even now he combines his artistic activity with that of the direction of Circus shows. da Ufficio Stampa |
