La rosa degli artisti che prenderanno parte all’imminente dodicesima edizione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” dal 14 al 18 Ottobre 2010 si va definendo giorno dopo giorno. Dei circa 24 posti disponibili in scaletta, 12 sono già stati assegnati ed ancora 12 restano da definire mantenendo così alta l’attesa da parte degli artisti, degli addetti ai lavori e dei tanti appassionati al mondo del Circo. Il sito ufficiale del Festival www.festivalcircolatina.com riporta sulla home-page l’aggiornamento costante della rosa degli artisti della dodicesima edizione. Jemile Martinez è un ventisettenne inglese alla terza generazione artistica. Di mamma trapezista e papà acrobata, Jemile ha potuto sperimentare fin dalla più tenera età numerose discipline delle arti circensi. Negli anni Jemile Martinez ha maturato due vere passioni, la giocoleria ed il pallone, che ha saputo fondere in una performance nella quale mostra al tempo stesso eleganza e agilità. Jemile ha già al suo attivo numerose partecipazioni a spettacoli di Circo in vari Paesi del mondo ed a Latina è alla sua prima partecipazione ad un Festival Internazionale. Sergey Yaskiy è il Direttore della troupe Yaskiy. I 5 artisti russi, hanno alle spalle una importante formazione atletica da ginnasti. A Latina presentano “Yakuty”, uno straordinario numero di barra russa, una specialità che prevede grandi capacità di concentrazione a supporto delle doti fisiche degli artisti che sorreggono la barra sulle proprie spalle. La troupe Yaskiy sfrutta l’elasticità della barra per compiere evoluzioni aeree mozzafiato. Pur avendo intrapreso la carriera artistica nel 2002, la troupe è alla sua prima partecipazione ad un Festival in ambito internazionale.

The total number of artists accepted so far to take part in the twelfth International Circus Festival "City of Latina" rises to 14 with the English soloist Jemile Martinez and the Russian troupe Yaskiy.
The selection of the artists who will be taking part in the upcoming twelfth International Circus Festival "City of Latina", from October 14th to October 18th 2010 is ongoing. Out of approximately 24 places available, 12 have already been filled and 12 are still waiting to be assigned, and so the wait goes on for performers, circus fans and all those involved in the circus world. Jemile Martinez, English, is a twenty-six year-old performer who comes from three generations of artists. With a trapezist mother and an acrobat father, Jemile began to experiment with numerous circus disciplines from a very young age. Over the years he has developed two real loves: juggling and football. These he has ably merged into a fusion performance of elegance and agility. Jemile has already participated in numerous circus shows worldwide, and Latina will be his début at an International Circus Festival.
Sergey Yaskiy is director of the Troupe Yaskiy. These five Russian artists come from a gymnastics background. At Latina they will be presenting their act "Yakuty", an extraordinary Russian Bar number that requires great concentration and skill as well as the sheer physical strength of the artists that support the barres on their shoulders. The Yaskiy Troupe makes use of the flexibility of the bars to execute breathtaking acrobatic jumps. Although they have been performing since 2002, this is their first presence at an International Circus Festival.
