Sono tre donne europee le artiste di cui viene resa ufficiale la partecipazione all’XI edizione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina”: l’ungherese Kata Kiss presenterà la disciplina del trapezio all’interno di una rete da pesca; il duo Elja, dalla Germania, porterà a Latina un numero di trapezio che prevede coreografie “a specchio”. LATINA, 5 Maggio 2009. La scaletta dell’XI edizione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” si va ulteriormente definendo; sono tutte donne trapeziste le tre artiste europee ammesse alla competizione: si tratta dell’ungherese Kata Kiss e del duo tedesco Elja. La partecipazione di Kata Kiss segna il ritorno dell’Ungheria al Festival; la giovane artista dell’est – europeo porterà a Latina un numero di trapezio, una disciplina storica nel panorama dell’arte circense reinterpretata grazie ad una originalissima coreografia che vedrà Kata Kiss volteggiare all’interno di uno strumento caro ai pescatori: il classico trapezio metallico, infatti, sarà sostituito da una vera e propria rete da pesca che vale al numero in pista a Latina la denominazione di “fisher – girl”, “la ragazza – pescatrice”. L’abilità dell’artista ungherese è il risultato di una carriera da ginnasta ritmica intrapresa nella tenera età e valsa 12 titoli nazionali, l’11^ posizione ai campionati europei e la 13^ posizione ai campionati mondiali. Terminata la carriera agonistica Kata Kiss si è appassionata all’arte circense intraprendendo un percorso formativo in Cina, presso l’Acrobat School di Pechino, e successivamente in Ungheria presso i Maciva Master Studios ove tuttora si esibisce ed elabora nuove performances. Sono le gemelle tedesche di 25 anni, Julia e Gabriele Janke a comporre lo straordinario Duo Elja. Studentesse alla State School of Circus Art di Berlino e allieve del grande maestro Viktor Formine, le due giovani si esibiranno in un particolare numero di Trapezio “a specchio”: una performance caratterizzata da un’elevata tecnica e da una qualità del movimento tali da suscitare alti livelli di coinvolgimento emotivo nella rincorsa alle immagini speculari create dalle due artiste unite in una perfetta simbiosi sincronica di stile. Oltre a numerose apparizioni a trasmissioni televisive e partecipazioni ad eventi per alcune tra le più importanti aziende sul mercato, il Duo Elja vanta già numerosi premi e riconoscimenti, tra i quali il premio del pubblico al Soly Circus Festival e la vittoria all’European Youth Circus Festival di Wiesbaden nel 2008.

Latina, May, 5th 2009. The list of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina” is going to be defined; they all come from Europe, the female artists, specialized in trapeze, which have been admitted to the competition: the Hungarian Kata Kiss and the German Duo Elja. The participation of Kata Kiss sign the return of Hungary at the Festival, the young artist who come from the Eastern Europe will bring to Latina a trapeze act, an historic discipline of the Circus world, re-invented with an original choreography in which we might see Kata Kiss, whirling inside a work tool that is very important to fishermen: the typical metallic trapeze that will be replaced by a real fishing net, this is the reason why she has been defined “the fisher girl”, for the act she presents in Latina. The Abilities of the Hungarian artist comes from a career in rhythmic gymnastic, in which she embarked when she was very young, thanks to his qualities, she won 12 national titles, the 11th position at the European Championship and the 13th position at the World Championship. When she ended the agonistic career she has discovered to be very interested in Circus arts, so she started to study in China, at the Acrobat School of Peking, afterwards in Hungary, at Maciva Master Studios, where she currently shows and creates new performances.The extraordinary Duo Elja is composed of the 25-years-old twins sisters, form Germany, Julia and Gabriele Janke. They study at the State School of Circus Art in Berlin and are pupils of the “Grand Master” Viktor Formine, this younger artist will perform in a special act of trapeze in the “mirror”: a performance which is characterized by the high level technique and by a strong involvement of the audience, with this act, directed to the emotionality, in which the sisters are able to create a perfect symbiosis of their gestures and style. In addition to this, they have taken part to several TV Shows and to various events organized by some of the main companies on the market, Duo Elja have already won many prizes and recognitions, among them the prize of the public at Soly Circus Festival and the won at the European Youth Circus Festival of Wiesbaden in 2008. da Ufficio Stampa |
